Spirit of Excellence – Leadership, Guidance, Inc., (SOE) derived out of my personal journey as a survivor of domestic abuse. As a teen mom, wife, and later a divorced single parent,
l had to rebuild my self-esteem and self-worth. It was through my faith and trust in God, SOE was birthed. My experience catapulted me to help other Black Adolescent Girls
and Women understand the importance of self-love, and engage in a healthy relationship with self and others.

The mission of Spirit of Excellence - Leadership Guidance, Inc. is to provide holistic culturally specific educational programs that promote healthy relationships for Black Adolescent Girls and Women to eradicate domestic violence and community violence in Black communities. We execute this mission through educational programs that promote healthy self-esteem, public awareness and community engagement.
