THE VOICE OF SILENCE™

The Voice of Silence (1).png

The Voice of Silence derived out of the need to educate pastors, church leaders, and others connected to Black communities on how to support women congregants who are or have been in a domestic violence relationship. Religious practices and responses to domestic violence can lead to women staying in abusive relationships much longer than needed. Educating pastors, church leaders, and communities serving this population helps to identify the social injustices experienced Black women related to violence.

THE VOICE OF SILENCE™
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT (PSA)

The purpose of The Voice of Silence PSA vignettes is to bring Domestic Violence awareness to the Black church and communities.  The PSA’s are intended to initiate the conversation of Domestic Violence against Black women and the need to establish healthy relationships training in the church and communities.
