REV. DR. SELINA D. CARTER
Spirit of Excellence – Leadership, Guidance, Inc., (SOE) derived out of my personal journey as a survivor of domestic abuse. As a teen mom, wife, and later a divorced single parent, l had to rebuild my self-esteem and self-worth. It was through my faith and trust in God, SOE was birthed. My experience catapulted me to help other Black Adolescent Girls and Women understand the importance of self-love, and engage in a healthy relationship with self and others.
SOE enables Adolescent Girls and Women to find their voice through holistic educational programs, workshops, training, conferences and speaking engagements that promotes healthy self-esteem from the inside out. We focus on culturally specific services on domestic violence and dating violence advocacy training, healthy relationships programs, leadership development, dFree financial freedom, and mother/daughter wellness program.
We believe self-love is greater than any love before it can be offered to another human being. SOE goal is to provide Adolescent Girls and Women with holistic healthy tools to leave a positive legacy for future generations.
